a very disappointed fella wrote this....

And in today's age, we spend between 10% and 20% of our lives watching TV, movies, playing video games or blindly surfing the internet.

We spend about 5% of our lives bathing, grooming and getting dressed.

Another 5% for eating/drinking.

And the average adult spends roughly 30% of their lives working, preparing for work or thinking about work.

So in the end, only 10% of our lives truly can have any real meaning.

The average human lifespan is about 75 years, so 10% is 7.5 years.

How much of that 7-and-a-half years of our entire existence on Planet Earth are we using to truly better ourselves and the world around us?

Something to think about...

If we spent our lives counting the percentage spent doing something, in the end, we would never have achieved anything. Enjoy life especially in these percentages. I mean, 10-20% watching tv....in a way adds meaning to our lives. If we didn't do these things, we aren't human.
